Emma started her career as a radio presenter as a teenager presenting programmes on local commercial radio as well as being a part of a weekly youth programme on BBC Radio Devon.
Whilst doing her degree at De Montfort University Emma was one of the founders of Demon FM and presented a daily show throughout her degree, as well as being the Head of Presentation. The station has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
After graduating Emma worked as a broadcast journalist across BBC Radio Leicester and BBC Radio Nottingham, producing and presenting packages for Breakfast and Drivetime, as well as writing and reading news bulletins.
When Emma moved to London she started work behind the microphone as a national radio producer for BBC Radio 1, she was occasionally heard on air in the background, as well as being the ‘roving reporter’ on air for the Love Parade in Berlin.
More recently Emma has moved back to broadcasting and is now the presenter of Drivetime on The Voice weekdays from 3-7pm.
